To make sure your tufted piece turns out clean, fluffy and beautiful, we recommend choosing simple, bold and easy-to-tuft designs.
Some details that look great on screen may not translate well into yarn and texture.
Simple designs always work best, especially if it’s your first time tufting.
Large shapes, bold colour blocks and clean outlines are easier to tuft and create cleaner final results.
Great examples:
Thin lines, tiny text and overly detailed designs are harder to tuft cleanly.
Small details can disappear or blend into the yarn texture.
Please avoid:
Too many colours can make a design feel visually busy and harder to tuft.
A curated colour palette usually creates the most aesthetic result.
Minimal colour combinations often look the most elevated and modern.
Thicker outlines and defined colour areas create cleaner tufted results.

If a detail looks too small to tuft comfortably, it probably is.
